Categorize the problems encountered during Jesus' later Judean ministry.
Describe the events of Jesus' ministry through Perea.
Study the accusations made against Jesus and note how Jesus dealt with His opposition.
In a 200-250 word essay summarize Jesus’ response to His opposition and discuss how believers today should deal with opposition to their faith.
Answer:
Jesus has been teaching and curing people in Judea and Jerusalem. Then he crosses the Jordan River to teach from city to city in the district of Perea. Soon, though, he will be back in Jerusalem.
A man exerts himself vigorously to get in through a narrow door
While Jesus is in Perea, a man asks: “Lord, are those being saved few?” The man may know of debates among the religious leaders over whether many will be saved or only a few. Jesus shifts the issue from how many will be saved to what must be done in order to be saved. “Exert yourselves vigorously to get in through the narrow door,” he says. Yes, effort, a struggle, is required. Why so? Jesus explains: “Many, I tell you, will seek to get in but will not be able.”
To illustrate the need for vigorous effort, Jesus says: “When the householder gets up and locks the door, you will stand outside knocking at the door, saying, ‘Lord, open to us.’ . . . But he will say to you, ‘I do not know where you are from. Get away from me, all you workers of unrighteousness!’”
This illustrates the plight of a person who comes late—apparently when it is convenient for him—and finds that the door is shut and locked. He should have come earlier, even if that was inconvenient. It is like that with many who could have benefited from Jesus’ being there teaching them. They failed to seize the opportunity to make true worship their chief purpose in life. Those to whom Jesus has been sent have not, for the most part, accepted God’s provision for salvation. Jesus says that they will ‘weep and gnash their teeth’ when they are thrown outside. Yet people “from east and west and from north and south,” yes, from all nations, “will recline at the table in the Kingdom of God.”
Jesus explains: “There are those last [such as non-Jews and downtrodden Jews] who will be first, and there are those first [religiously favored Jews who take pride in being descendants of Abraham] who will be last.” ( Their being “last” means that such ungrateful ones will not be in the Kingdom of God at all.
Some Pharisees now come to Jesus and advise him: “Get out and go away from here, because Herod [Antipas] wants to kill you.” Perhaps King Herod himself started this rumor to cause Jesus to flee the territory. Herod may be afraid that somehow he will become involved in the death of another prophet, even as he was in the killing of John the Baptist. But Jesus tells the Pharisees: “Go and tell that fox, ‘Look! I am casting out demons and healing people today and tomorrow, and on the third day I will be finished.’” In calling Herod a “fox,” Jesus may be alluding to how crafty foxes can be. However, Jesus will not be manipulated or rushed by Herod or anyone else. He is going to carry out the assignment his Father gave him, doing so according to God’s schedule, not man’s.
Jesus moves on in his journey toward Jerusalem because, as he says, “it cannot be that a prophet should be put to death outside of Jerusalem.” No Bible prophecy said that the Messiah must die in that city, so why does Jesus speak of being killed there? Because Jerusalem is the capital, where the 71-member Sanhedrin high court is located and where those accused of being false prophets would be tried. Furthermore, that is where animal sacrifices are offered. Thus, Jesus realizes that it would be inadmissible for him to be killed elsewhere.
A mother hen gathers her chicks under her wings
“Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the killer of the prophets and stoner of those sent to her,” Jesus laments, “how often I wanted to gather your children together the way a hen gathers her brood of chicks under her wings! But you did not want it. Look! Your house is abandoned to you.” The nation is rejecting the Son of God and must face the consequences!
Before Jesus gets to Jerusalem, a leader of the Pharisees invites him to his house for a meal on the Sabbath. Those invited watch closely to see what Jesus might do about a man present who is suffering from dropsy (a severe accumulation of fluid, often in the legs and feet). Jesus asks the Pharisees and the experts in the Law: “Is it lawful to cure on the Sabbath or not?”
Nobody answers. Jesus heals the man and then asks them: “Who of you, if his son or bull falls into a well, will not immediately pull him out on the Sabbath day?” Again, they have no response to his sound reasoning.
Jesus has been educating and restoring individuals in Judea and Jerusalem. Then, at that point, he crosses the Jordan River to educate from one city to another in the region of Perea. Before long, however, he will be back in Jerusalem.
What are the events of Jesus' ministry through Perea?Jesus is in Perea, a man inquires, Master, are those being saved not many. The man might know about banters among the strict pioneers about whether many will be saved or a couple.
Jesus moves the issue from the number of will be saved to what should be done to be saved. Strive enthusiastically to get in through the thin entryway," he says. Indeed, exertion, a battle, is required. Why so Jesus makes sense of: "Many, I tell you, will try to get in however won't be capable."
To show the requirement for enthusiastic exertion, Jesus says: "When the householder gets up and locks the entryway, you will remain outside thumping at the entryway, saying, 'Ruler, open to us. Be that as it may, he will share with you, 'I don't have the foggiest idea where you are from. Move away from me, all you laborers of indecency.

Others believe that our approach occasionally plays a role in shaping our identity. Our adolescence and the willingness to belong to will have a major impact on our performance today, but as we mature, the opinions and opinions of other people become less relevant and the relevance drops It is clear that to do. As you mature, others' opinions and opinions rarely affect your identity. As Tom Elmore said in "artificial maturity", mature people do not feel anxious about tributes and criticism, they ruin or influence their misunderstanding views You can accept or prevent. They are confident in their identity. Recognition by others of mature people rarely hinders their view or changes their viewpoint.
Our identity can sometimes be shaped by the way other people see us. As we have seen, the way other people view us has some influence on the way we see ourselves. There are other factors that human beings basically belong to and need to mature like our long-standing adolescent; everyone is equal to our character and who we are It plays an important role. There are other factors, like our long-standing adolescent, that humans basically belong to and need to mature; no one can shape our character and who we are Plays an equally important role. In general, it seems that there are many, not only influences on shaping our identity.
Our appearance can greatly shape our identity. The physical appearance is the first, most important, and most lasting impression others have. Society makes different assumptions about other people based on simple factors such as fashion and physical fitness. As a result, many people will adjust their identity to be acceptable to society. For example, people adjust their appearances to suit what they want to see. Those who are very formal dress may wish others to think of them as senior or rich. Elements such as height and skin color can not be changed easily, but it depends on genetics. Sandra was born in a white family, but there are still black genes, but the influence of the appearance on our identity can be seen in "skin". Therefore, she discovered that people with the same skin color are connected

-How was the third pig a hero
- what lesson do you think the wolf learned
-what do think will happen the next time the wolf sees a pig
- which character in the short suffers the most
- imagine the money a builder could make on house built of straw .
I guess the 3rd pig is a hero because he saved the other pigs.
The wolf learned that brick can't be blown over, and not to mess with the 3rd pig.
The wolf, having instinct of course, will try to get the pig. But, if the pig goes into a brick house, the wolf will stop, because prior, unpleasant knowledge will tell it that bad things will happen.
I think that the first pig actually suffers the most, because his house, and another house he was hiding in were blown down. And because he was being chased the longest.
The money a builder could make on a house built of straw? Not much, seeing as it's built of straw. Or, on the flip side,he could get rich, because the straw would need replacing all the time.
