One pager for bill of rights

Answers

Answer:

what do u mean by that I need more info about what u are taking about

The bill of rights is a popular document that was not originally in the US constitution, but anti federalists wanted a bill of rights really bad because supposedly they were afraid of a strong central government. They did not want another king so some states refused the constitution until there was a bill of rights. Along with being afraid of a central government they wanted a limited government so that government could not control them. The anti federalists also thought the government would not protect their individual rights enough so they wanted a bill of rights. The fact that the anti federalists were afraid of a central government was not very surprising as they had come from a king that ruled over them and used them, but to have a bill of rights making sure they were safe from the government. One of the amendments in the bill of rights was the right to bear arms, which means that the towns had the right to a local militia that had weapons. This proves they're scared because the reason they had the right added was so that the local militia could protect their town if the government goes rogue, or so they could protect themselves from other countries and the indians if the government wouldn't help.

What are the key characteristics of the Northern Renaissance?

Answers

Answer:

The word renaissance literally means "rebirth." In the context of the English Renaissance, this rebirth refers to a renewal of learning, especially in terms of new beliefs and ways of doing things differently from the Middle Ages. Characteristics of the Renaissance include a renewed interest in classical antiquity; a rise in humanist philosophy (a belief in self, human worth, and individual dignity); and radical changes in ideas about religion, politics, and science.

Here are some examples of how these characteristics are illustrated in Hamlet:

Classic antiquity: Hamlet has lots of references to classical Greek and Roman stories, characters, and historical events. For example, you can find a murderous king (Pyrrhus), and a queen in mourning over her murdered husband (Hecuba), which mirror the main plot points of the play.

Humanist philosophy: In Act II, Scene 2, Line 311, Hamlet asks: "What a piece of work is a man, how noble in reason, how infinite in faculties..." In this speech, you can see a clear assertion of humanist ideas about the uniqueness and extraordinary abilities of the human mind.

Religion: In Hamlet's most famous soliloquy, which begins, "To be or not to be...", he alludes to an unknown afterlife, "The undiscovered country...," which is a stark departure from Medieval religious ideas rooted in a strict belief that people either go to heaven or hell when they die.

Politics: There were big political changes taking place during the time that Shakespeare wrote Hamlet. This is reflected in the play by Hamlet's questioning of Claudius's right to ascend to the throne in his father's place. It was a new idea to question anything having to do with the "natural" hierarchical structures that maintained political power.

Science: This point is illustrated by Shakespeare's use of the play-within-the play in Hamlet. Here, Prince Hamlet's play, The Mousetrap, is presented to the court supposedly as entertainment, but Hamlet's intent is to gather obvious evidence of Claudius's guilt for the murder of his father. Says Hamlet: "...the play's the thing Wherein I'll catch the conscience of the king."

This tribute can best be described as a contribution that the citizens of Persia or conquered towns had to make -voluntarily or involuntarily- to the King of Persia. What does Trump say about jobs and the work force and the safety of working and wages vs what Biden has to say about it

Answers

Answer:

Trump (does not support as much) Biden does support it

Explanation:

Trump-

Cuts taxes and provides leeway to the major companies to treat their employees however they want. An example of this is seen in Amazon where the people aren't allowed to unionize, have little to no healthcare insurance and are easily replaceable.

Biden-

Tax higher after $400k and target the larger companies while providing more options for people to be insured.

Donald Trump and former Vice President Joe Biden on issues from climate change to health care and jobs.

The winner of the presidency will face a U.S. labor market that is still recovering from a pandemic-induced shock in the spring that ended a decade of job growth.

Both President Trump and Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden are promising to create millions of jobs. U.S. employers through August have added back about half of the 22 million jobs lost in March and April when the pandemic shut down wide swaths of the economy, bringing the August unemployment rate to an 8.4% level that is in line with past recessions. The candidates’ strategies to achieve a full jobs recovery differ.

Mr. Trump is emphasizing deregulation and tax cuts as levers for job creation. Mr. Biden sees further fiscal stimulus by the federal government as a key driver for supporting a jobs recovery. Mr. Trump is promising to create 10 million new jobs in 10 months and one million new small businesses. He plans to cut taxes to “keep jobs in America,” according to his campaign agenda.

Judd Deere, a White House official, said the president’s tax, trade and deregulatory policies worked in the past and will work again to build a strong economy.

Republicans have pointed to stronger-than-expected job growth this summer as evidence that people are quickly returning to work during the pandemic. Many in the party now see the economy recovering on its own without additional government stimulus, and question whether further deficit spending is wise.

Mr. Biden and Democrats, however, believe there is a need for further government spending to aid workers during a period of high unemployment.

Even with the summer’s gains, more jobs have been lost to the current crisis than in the 2007-2009 recession. Mr. Biden would support providing state and local governments with money so essential workers aren’t laid off, and extending federal unemployment insurance during the pandemic. An extra $600 in jobless aid expired at the end of July, and Mr. Trump replaced it with an additional $300 that will last up to six weeks. Congress hasn’t yet reached an agreement on a new federal benefit.

Mr. Biden “would do whatever it takes, spend whatever it takes,” according to his platform.

Both candidates have emphasized a desire to bring back jobs to the U.S. through lower tax rates at home than abroad. Mr. Biden is pushing plans to offer tax credits to companies that generate new jobs for workers. For instance, if a manufacturing company expands its footprint in the U.S. and hires more workers, it would be eligible for a tax credit. He also intends to impose a tax penalty on companies that have manufacturing operations offshore to make products for importing back to the U.S.
