Answer

Explanation:

Middle East, the lands around the southern and eastern shores of the Mediterranean Sea, encompassing at least the Arabian Peninsula and, by some definitions, Iran, North Africa, and sometimes beyond. The central part of this general area was formerly called the Near East, a name given to it by some of the first modern Western geographers and historians, who tended to divide what they called the Orient into three regions. Near East applied to the region nearest Europe, extending from the Mediterranean Sea to the Persian Gulf; Middle East, from the Persian Gulf to Southeast Asia; and Far East, those regions facing the Pacific Ocean.

The topic I pick is FAS( fetal alcohol syndrome). The main reason I would pick this is because of how much this affects unborn fetuses/babies and mother. You are probably wondering what exactly is FAS. FAS or fetal alcohol syndrome is just as bad as it sounds. It is when a mother does various things such smoke, drink alcohol, uses drugs etc. during pregnancy. This could lead to various problems and deformations. The child could have behavioral problems and learning disabilities. But that’s not the extreme case. In extreme cases the child could have face deformities such as closed or thin eyelids, elongated or very small heads, extra toes or fingers, and missing limbs or organs. During pregnancy if the mother is drinking she could have a miscarriage because what she is ingesting the fetus is receiving through the placenta, thus the fetus wouldn’t survive because it has a weaker immune system than that of the mother. In my point I’m saying that we should completely make it illegal or ban pregnant women smoking, drinking alcohol, or doing anything that would affect the fetus in a bad way.

What is land?

Land is the term used to describe the area of the earth's surface. Humans benefit from forest, animal, soil, minerals, and plantation land types. The ecology includes the land. Without land, the living things would perish. This corner of the world is unique. The United States government is managing the poor people's cultural reservation on the land.

Land absorbs and releases heat faster, but water absorbs and emits heat slowly. Because water has a higher specific heat than dry soil, it absorbs and dissipates energy more slowly than soil. Water is a slow heat carrier when compared to air or land.

As a result, the conclusion of the land absorbs and releases heat quickly, while water absorbs and releases heat at a slower rate are the aforementioned. Therefore, option (b) is correct.

Question: How well does this article explain resources, scarcity, or goods? Use information from the article to support your answer.

Answers

Answer:

Scarcity of goods and services is an important variable for economic models because it can affect the decisions made by consumers. For some people, the scarcity of a good or service means they cannot afford it. The economy of any place is made up of these choices by individuals and companies about what they can produce and afford.

The goods and services of any country are limited, which can lead to scarcity. Countries have different resources available to produce goods and services. These resources can be workers, government and private company investment, or raw materials (like trees or coal). Certain limits of scarcity can be balanced by taking resources from one area and using them somewhere else. Sellers like private companies or governments decide how the available resources are spread out. This is done by trying to strike a balance between what consumers need or want, what the government needs, and what will be an efficient use of resources to maximize profits. Countries also import resources from other countries, and export resources from their own.

1. What is the elastic clause? What does it allow Congress to do?
2. Why do you think some people might argue the elastic clause gives Congress too much power? Why do you agree or disagree?
5. In your opinion, should the elastic clause allow Congress to create new branches of the military? Why or why not?

Answers

Explanation: If you want to know what the government can do, specifically, you can look at Article I, Section 8 of the Constitution, which lists Congress' powers: it can levy taxes, declare war, and coin money, among other things. These are called the government's enumerated powers, also called expressed powers or delegated powers.

The immediate problem faced by the framers of the Constitution was that it was impossible to list all the powers of government. First off, there are just too many; and second, they wanted to build a government that would last and stands the test of time. They knew that the world was going to change; remember, these were all very educated and enlightened men, raised in the 18th century, the Age of Reason. They knew they couldn't predict what the world would look like in even ten years, much less in a century.

So, they added a rule. Near the end of Section 8 of the Constitution, it says: 'Congress has the power to make all Laws which shall be necessary and proper for carrying into Execution the foregoing Powers, and all other Powers vested by this Constitution in the Government of the United States, or any Department or Officer thereof.

What does this mean? Two things: first, don't think that the powers listed here are the government's only powers. Second, Congress can make any law it needs to, to carry out its enumerated powers. This 'necessary and proper clause, then, allows the government to stretch beyond its literal description; that's why the clause is often nicknamed the elastic clause since its flexibility allows the government to change and grow over time.
