Imagine that you are reading an article about the country of Tuvalu, a small island in the Pacific Ocean. A. The main point of the article is that Tuvalu is one of the smallest countries in the world. Which details support that main idea? B. Tuvaluans speak Polynesian and English. Tuvalu has an area of only 10 square miles. C. There is only one hospital in Tuvalu, and it's not large. D. The population of Tuvalu is about 10,000. The diet of Tuvaluans includes fish and coconut.

Answers

Answer:

The details that support the main point of the article are:

Tuvalu has an area of only 10 square miles.

There is only one hospital in Tuvalu, and it's not large.

The population of Tuvalu is about 10,000.

Explanation:

According to the instructions, the article's main point is that Tuvalu is one of the smallest countries in the world. Now we need details that will support this claim. Therefore, anything that can show how small Tuvalu is should be seen as a necessary detail.

Most countries have a large area, several (probably thousands) of big hospitals as well as populations of hundreds of thousands if not millions of people. Tuvalu, however, is the opposite of that. It has an extremely small area, only one small hospital, and a population of only 10,000 people. We can see how these three pieces of information help readers visualize how small the country is.

I'm working on the same question and I was able to find this conclusion;

The main reason why Abraham Lincoln helped the union win the war was because he went from limited to total warfare. Meaning he did everything in his power to help win while being practical at the same time. Thinking about what people cared about opposed to what was best. Also he valued each state and doesn't want them losing their support towards the union and by thinking politically and militarily he was able to do so in a smart way.
