Answer:
Essay on a story called "David Copperfield"
The full title of “David Copperfield” is “The Personal History, Adventures, Experience and Observation of David Copperfield the younger of Blunderstone Rookery” but it was never published under this name. “David Copperfield” is the story of a child carrying the same name and his journey from childhood till he grows old.
A sad childhood is portrayed in the story where the child loses his father at a young age. As a result, his mother marries again and his step father gives the little child a very hard time. His step father believes that being weak in studies, David needs full attention. After being frustrated by his father, little David one day bites him. The result is that soon he lands into a hostel where he also faces a hard time but makes two friends- James Steerforth and Tommy Traddles. When he returns home during vacations he comes to know that his mother has given birth to a baby boy. Soon both his mother and the baby boy dies and David is left alone to face the torture of his father. His father now sends David to a factory to work.
David runs away from London to Dover and now meets his relative, Aunt Betsey Trotwood. He is now renamed as Trotwood Copperfield and is addressed by the new nickname Trot everywhere. As he grows up many of his loved ones also leave him alone by kissing death including his Aunt Betsey. At a very young age David faces the pain that people do not face in their lifetimes. This makes him a mature and well to do individual. But life takes a much harder lesson after he gets married to Dora Spenlow because she dies facing the pain of her miscarriage early in their marriage. Later David marries the beautiful and sensible Agnes and lives a beautiful life with her and their three children. He also names his daughter after his late aunt Betsey to show how much he loved her and how much he still misses her.

What can you infer from this dialogue
PETER: I used to see you…sometimes…
ANNE: You did?
PETER: …In the schoolyard. You were always in the middle of a bunch of kids.
ANNE: Why didn’t you ever come over?
PETER: I’m sort of a lone wolf.
This question is missing the answer choices. I was able to find them online. They are the following:
A. Anne is friendly only with her own crowd and ignores everyone else.
B. Peter is a wood carver.
C. Anne is outgoing, and Peter is shy.
D. Peter thinks he is too good to socialize with others.
Answer:
What we can infer is:
C. Anne is outgoing, and Peter is shy.
Explanation:
Anne Frank, born in 1929, was a victim of the Nazi regime in Germany. Of Jewish descent, Anne and her family lived in hiding for as long as they could in order to escape death. However, they were found by the Nazis, and Anne died in a concentration camp in 1945.
Her diary was published posthumously and a stage adaption of it was made. The play is called "The Diary of Anne Frank." The dialogue we are analyzing here takes place between Anne and Peter, whose family had also gone into hiding.
From the dialogue we can easily infer that Anne was an outgoing girl. She was seen surrounded by friends, "in the middle of a bunch of kids." However, the one who saw that never approached them. Peter explains his behavior by saying he is "a lone wolf". In other words, he is shy, more introverted than Anne. He probably keeps few friends and would rather spend more time alone.

C

In fiction, a reason to start a new paragraph is change in the place where the action is happening. Thus the correct option is C.
What is fiction? The definition of fiction is something that is unreal. Untrue story-based literature is an illustration of fiction. This is the result of the writer's imagination.

Therefore, to make the audience connected with the story if any change in place of action in the story occurs, a new paragraph should start.

Read the excerpt from "The Gift of the Magi." In this excerpt, Jim’s character is developed
Hello. You did not submit the excerpt to which this question refers, which makes it impossible for it to be answered. However, I will try to help you as best I can.
The only way to answer your question is to read the text it refers to. Within a text, characters are developed from the actions they promote within the situations in which they are inserted. They can also be developed through lack of direct action, but through reasoning, thinking, and observing what to do about something or someone. In that case, to answer that question, you must read the text and be able to identify the action Jim took, or lack of action within a situation. What's important is that the behavior Jim takes in this situation is meaningful both to him and to the story.

Answer:
In Night, the soup tastes better after the first hanging because Elie is still alive. He can return to the bunks and eat. The actual taste does not matter. What matters is that he has survived another day. The prisoners have become inured to death because it surrounds them. The second hanging is different. A young boy beloved by the camp is hanged.
