How is the dialogue in Endgame different from typical dramatic dialogue?

A.
It uses iambic pentameter.

B.
It contains little clear content.

C.
It does not contain any serious moments.

D.
It uses more offensive language.

Answers

It contains little clear content

The dialogue in Endgame, a play by Samuel Beckett, is different from typical dramatic dialogue in that it contains little clear content. The correct option is B.

The characters in the play engage in long, rambling conversations that are often repetitive, nonsensical, or cryptic. Their speech is fragmented and disjointed, and they frequently interrupt each other or speak over each other. This type of dialogue is often referred to as "absurdist," as it challenges traditional notions of language and communication in drama. Endgame is known for its use of absurdist dialogue, which is intended to convey the characters' sense of isolation and existential despair.

Thus, the ideal selection is option B.

Frank and Jasmere are both shopping for a new car. They are looking for a $20,000 loan to pay for the new car that they will pay back over a five year period. Frank has a credit score of 730 and Jasmere has a score of 600. Which of the following statements is TRUE?

Over the five year period, Jasmere and Frank will pay the same amount for the car loan

Frank's monthly payment on the auto loan will be about $100 more than Jasmere's payment

Jasmere's monthly payment on the loan will be about $100 more than Frank's payment

Lenders are not allowed to charge people different interest rates based on their credit scores

Answers

Based on Frank's credit score and that of Jasmine, the true statement on the loan for the new car is Jasmere's monthly payment on the loan will be about $100 more than Frank's payment.

How do credit scores affect loans?

Our credit scores show how much trust a financial institution can place on us to be able to pay back the loan. This means that people who have higher credit scores are more trusted to pay back.

When you are more trusted, then the rate you will be charged on the loan would be less. The rate that would therefore be charged on Jasmere's payment will therefore be more than Frank's because she has a lower credit score.

essasy on journey to space (imagine)

Answers

Answer:

Hours ago, I had left Earth. Possibly for the last time, considering how insane this company can get. I don't even work for NASA! I don't know how they even got access to a huge rocket! Anyways, I'm stuck writing in this little notebook. I bet, if I had access to decent recording equipment this would be a great podcast. There's a tiny window across the room, and I've looked out of it a multitude of times. There's not really much there, considering we're not near any planets. It's just....well, space. A void. Probably what death looks and feels like. Dying sounds scary, but being dead sounds like there's nothing to it.

I was able to bring a little music player with me, but I only have Heaven Is A Place On Earth. How ironic. I must have listened to it this entire time, considering the fact it's still playing. Gravity is absolutely insane here too, and I expected it to be like that, but not nearly to this extent. As soon as this rocket hit space, my spine just elongated. Like when you pick up a cat by it's arms and it looks funny. That's exactly how I feel. I bet I was sent up here to write about the actual experience, like how bad space "coffee" is, the quotations are there because this is not coffee. It's more like, powdered concrete.  Well, now you know that fun fact.

God, I'm tired. Today has been insane. Mostly "gotta get out, gotta move", but now that I'm here it's just serenity. From calamity to calm. I think my dreams would be more interesting, though. Once I take a nap, I can officially say I've slept in space. Although, I have a feeling I'd be able to say that even if I didn't take a nap. I'm not sure how long I'm supposed to be here, but I think it's at least a few months? I'm on the road to this small planet everyone thought was just space debris. Check out space aliens, y'know. I think aliens exist. There's no way they don't. I mean, isn't it a little selfish to think, out of the millions of galaxies and suns and planets, that we're the only life? That's insane! I bet aliens are smarter than us. Probably. Hopefully not "take over the world for evil purposes" smarter, but "here; this is how we do things" smarter. A very small difference, but very important nonetheless.

Anyways, I'm gonna sleep for...until I wake up. I'll keep writing in this, but only because I'm getting good pay for it. Goodnight, dear readers. Or future historians. That'd be neat.

What are the disadvantages of a contract for deed? Select two.

Answers

Answer:

Seller retains the right to the property

No professional appraisal is required, so you might pay more than the home is worth

Explanation:

A contract for deed is one that does not have the standard transfer of title from the seller to the owner. Rather the seller of a property retains title ownership while the buyer pays installmentally over time.

This agreement is common where the buyer does not meet requirements to obtain a loan. A small down payment can be made initially.

Disadvantages of contract for deed includes:

- Seller retains rights to the property, and he can cancel the contract if the buyer defaults even once on his payments.

- No professional appraisal is required, so you might pay more than the home is worth. There is no requirement for appraisal of the property so the buyer does not have a reliable estimate of property worth.
