Los vertimientos producidos por industrias y hogares en muchas ocasiones son dispuestos en las fuentes hídricas sin ningún tipo de tratamiento, lo cual ocasiona su contaminación paulatina.

Las personas suelen comprar productos que son muy contaminantes pero que son más baratos que aquellos que no lo son, lo que alienta a las empresas a seguir produciéndolos.

Los productos contaminantes son fabricados continuamente debido a que se prefiere un bajo precio frente al cuidado del ambiente.
Conclusión 2.
Las personas deben preferir los productos amigables con el ambiente, de esta forma, se incentivará a la industria a convertir sus productos a uno menos contaminantes.

Las personas constantemente depositan en la caneca de la basura todos los materiales que ya no les sirven, sin tener en cuenta un proceso de separación en la fuente para que dichos materiales puedan ser reincorporados al ciclo productivo.

El problema de residuos sólidos en botadores a cielo abierto o rellenos sanitarios se debe a la falta de cultura de la ciudadanía.
Conclusión 3.
Las personas deben instruirse sobre la correcta separación en la fuente, con el fin de enviar a los rellenos sanitarios la menor cantidad de residuos posible.
