His father was a very wise man. He wanted to put some sense in him. He wanted to instil in him that if he wanted to be successful, he must work for it. So, he made a plan to teach hi lesson.
He took the help of a fortuneteller. He sent him to Jagu. The fortuneteller said to Jagu. “I am a famous fortuneteller; I know something big is going to happen in your life on the first day of the next month. Take this flower and keep it with you.”
Jagu was quite excited to get the flower from the fortuneteller. He went home and told the incident that success was coming his way. He will prove it to the world on the first day of the next month. He told all his friends and relatives.
Everyone was curious to see as to what would happen on the first day of the next month. The most excited person was Jagu himself.
The night before the first day of the next month he could not sleep. And the next morning as he woke up, he found the day to be as normal as the other days had been. No news of any success came. The day came and just went ordinarily. Jagu became quite dejected.
At the right time his father came and told Jagu, “Success does not come with dreaming and predicitons, you have to work hard and win it and create it. Go out, and create your own success with efforts.”

cousin of yours in SS2 is discovered to be pregnant and her father has threatened to send her out of the house. Not less than 450 words write a letter to pacify the father and suggest what you think can be done to salvage the situation
Answer:
Writing a letter to an uncle whose daughter got pregnant while still in school and trying to pacify him from acting harshly.
Explanation:
ABC Avenue
New York
11 February 2009
My dear uncle,
I know this is a hard time for you and the whole family to think of anything. It must have been a shock to learn of cousin Lucy's pregnancy even though she's still a young girl in school.
But please don't be harsh to her or she will only end up dejected and hurt. You are the family she got and she would expect love and understanding from you and be provided with emotional support and comfort.
And if you only act in your interest and not think of what that will do to her, things will only turn the worse. It is at times like this that she will be needing all the love and support she can get, especially from the people closest to her. So, please be understanding and be there for her. She will learn to appreciate what you are and she will also learn how to be a better understanding person herself, which will help her in her new role as a mother. Moreover, she will also think in a much more mature way and learn to be a better person.
If you act harshly to her, she will have no one to turn to. She will get criticized by others and if her ow family rejects her, she will only feel hurt and anger. But if you support her even though she did something bad, she will learn how a parent must act and react even at times like these. And that will become a good lesson for her to learn and be a good mother to her child too.
So, by setting aside your feelings and opinions and thinking rationally, everything will be more positive and easier to deal with. Cousin Lucy will feel assured that she has her family behind her back for support and be more encouraged even if others criticize her. moreover, it will be good for the baby to be around positive energy.
I hope what I write makes a bit of sense for you and make you understand things from outside your viewpoint. Thinking outside of your comfort zone may not lessen the damage but it will make you realize the predicament your daughter is in. And hopefully, it will help you get to be more sensible and understanding of her situation. Moreover, she needs a strong and loving father who is there for her daughter when the whole world is against her.
Thank you, Uncle, for listening, and hope to get better and more positive news soon.
Take good care of each other and will be visiting soon.
Love,
Brianna.

Answer and Explanation:
There are four types of sentences: imperative sentences, declarative sentences, exclamatory sentences and interrogative sentences.
Here we look at imperative sentences and exclamatory sentences.
While Imperative sentences, also called directives, are used to issue commands and make requests, exclamatory sentences are used to express increased emotion.
Imperative sentences can be confused with exclamatory sentences because imperative sentences may end with exclamation points just like exclamatory sentences. Imperative sentences end with exclamatory sentences when a directive or instruction is said with emotion(shouted for example)and therefore has an exclamation point.
Imperative and exclamatory sentences using the events include:
1. Imperative sentence: Go and cross the Missouri River.
Exclamatory sentence: Get to the Missouri River now!
2. Imperative sentence: Get ready to dig channels for the boats.
Exclamatory sentence: Start digging the channels for the boats right now!
3. Imperative sentence: Let us go and see the hundreds of squirrels at the park

Which of the following is an example of heat
transfer by conduction?
a. sunlight hitting a floor
b. an electric stove heating an iron pan
a wood stove heating nearby objects
d. an electric heater heating air, which rises
and is replaced with cooler air
Answer:
B. An electric stove heating an iron pan
Explanation:
Conduction is the process in which heat is being transferred between objects through direct contact. It's the most common type of heat transfer.
An example of conduction is an electric stove heating an iron pan. The iron pan is placed on the stove. As we turn on the stove, it begins heating the pan. Since they are touching, the heat is being transferred from the stove to the pan through conduction.
In the rest of the scenarios, there is no direct contact.
This is why option B is the correct one.
The one that illustrates heat transfer via conduction would be:
B). An electric stove heating an iron pan.
Conduction is defined only as of the method in which the heat or electricity is conveyed via material or object. The direct contact of the heat of one surface or material to the other results in the transferring of heat from one to another. The example of a stove or a heater having a metal object like an iron pan or vessel on it where the heat from flames of the stove transfers to the utensil and then further this heat cooks the food by transferring this again.
Thus, option B is the correct answer.

“A most extraordinary man, a Mr. Nuttel,” said Mrs. Sappleton; “could only talk about his illnesses, and dashed off without a word of good-bye or apology when you arrived. One would think he had seen a ghost.”
“I expect it was the spaniel,” said the niece calmly; “he told me he had a horror of dogs. He was once hunted into a cemetery somewhere on the banks of the Ganges by a pack of pariah dogs, and had to spend the night in a newly dug grave with the creatures snarling and grinning and foaming just above him. Enough to make anyone lose their nerve.”
