Trapped inside a Book!
It was a bright and beautiful morning the day of Friday the 13th, year 1982. Marie Spade, a writer of many books, was finishing up her 18th book! Her book was about a brave princess/knight who lived in France and her adventures. who lived in France back After she finished, she went grocery shopping. It was a pretty normal day, from then on, but Marie had no clue what was going to happen that night!
Marie was about to go to sleep until her book opened up by itself! A bright gold light shone out of the book. Then all of a sudden Marie noticed something different. She was in the book!
Marie didn't notice what book she was in until she saw someone she recognized. She saw the brave princess/knight Katie Adair! That was the main character in HER book. Then she finally realized it all, she was trapped inside her own book! "But why" she wondered. Then Katie explained why she was called into the book. The Daesh, an enemy of France, had started attacking them not long after Marie had finished with the book.
(Plz help me!!)
Answer:
If anything seems weird to you, you can change it around or anything you need to do. I hope this helps!
Explanation:
"What?!" cried Marie, staring stricken at the knight who looked so sullen, so meloncholy, and oh so tired. "That surely can't be true. I made a point to have the French government sign a treaty ensuring peace between them and the Daesh!"
"Indeed you did," Katie sighed heavily. "We watched closely from our world when you wrote the last of our great journey. But the Daesh were not quite so keen to live beside us in peace. No, they took the treaty and burned it right before Her Majesty, then slaughtered everyone in the castle, sparing noone but a weak mesenger to spread the news of the queen's demise. We knights heard too late, and by the time we had arrived in Paris, the crowds were mad with fear. The castle gates were heavily guarded, and in a foolish attempt to determine the truth of the news, six of my fellow knights were slayed. I'm afraid there is noone left to save our country, except me, three of my brave comrades, and you, dearest author."
Marie's chest clenched, skin paling rapidly, and as she attempted to catch her breath, black crawled from the edges into her sight, enveloping the once-mighty swordswoman and everything around her. The last thing the writer saw before falling to the ground was an exhausted worry splayed across her heroine's face.
She jer ked awake, brow covered in sweat. "Was that really all just a dream?" she whispered amazedly to herself. Had she really just imagined herself in such an intense and deeply worrying place, one that she had always thought of as a utopia? "Incredible!" Marie wobbled herself out of her bed and wandered over to the finished trasncript of her latest book. She sat down at her desk, picked up a pen, and began writing a new ending to her book, this time including the mysterious events in her dream, so that she, Marie Spade, could turn her heroic novel into an even more incredible series.

Read this passage from Through the Looking-Glass. “It didn’t hurt him,” the Unicorn said carelessly, and he was going on, when his eye happened to fall upon Alice: he turned round rather instantly, and stood for some time looking at her with an air of the deepest disgust. “What—is—this?” he said at last. “This is a child!” Haigha replied eagerly, coming in front of Alice to introduce her, and spreading out both his hands towards her in an Anglo-Saxon attitude. “We only found it to-day. It’s as large as life, and twice as natural!” “I always thought they were fabulous monsters!” said the Unicorn. “Is it alive?” “It can talk,” said Haigha, solemnly. The Unicorn looked dreamily at Alice, and said, “Talk, child.” Alice could not help her lips curling up into a smile as she began: “Do you know, I always thought Unicorns were fabulous monsters, too! I never saw one alive before!” “Well, now that we have seen each other,” said the Unicorn, “if you’ll believe in me, I’ll believe in you. Is that a bargain?” “Yes, if you like,” said Alice. Which statement best describes how the relationship between Alice and the Unicorn develops? A.Although Alice smiles at the Unicorn, he thinks that she is not real, but a dream.
B.The Unicorn is immediately delighted with Alice and asks Haigha to introduce them.
C.Although the Unicorn is disgusted by Alice at first, the two of them become friendly as they make a bargain to believe in one another.
D.First, the Unicorn demands that Alice speak to him, and then he rudely calls her a fabulous monster.
Answer: C
Explanation: This is because you can read the text and see that letter C makes the most sense. In the beginning the Unicorn is disgusted with the child but at the end they make a deal to believe in on another.

Which statement describes the point of view of The Adventures of Tom Sawyer?
A.
A narrator is telling the story.
B.
A family member is telling the story.
C.
Sid is narrating the story.
D.
Tom is narrating the story.
Text:
Monday morning found Tom Sawyer miserable. Monday morning always found him so—because it began another week's slow suffering in school. He generally began that day with wishing he had had no intervening holiday, it made the going into captivity and fetters again so much more odious.
Tom lay thinking. Presently it occurred to him that he wished he was sick; then he could stay home from school. Here was a vague possibility. He canvassed his system. No ailment was found, and he investigated again. This time he thought he could detect colicky symptoms, and he began to encourage them with considerable hope. But they soon grew feeble, and presently died wholly away. He reflected further. Suddenly he discovered something. One of his upper front teeth was loose. This was lucky; he was about to begin to groan, as a "starter," as he called it, when it occurred to him that if he came into court with that argument, his aunt would pull it out, and that would hurt. So he thought he would hold the tooth in reserve for the present, and seek further. Nothing offered for some little time, and then he remembered hearing the doctor tell about a certain thing that laid up a patient for two or three weeks and threatened to make him lose a finger. So the boy eagerly drew his sore toe from under the sheet and held it up for inspection. But now he did not know the necessary symptoms. However, it seemed well worth while to chance it, so he fell to groaning with considerable spirit.
But Sid slept on unconscious.
Tom groaned louder, and fancied that he began to feel pain in the toe.
No result from Sid.
Tom was panting with his exertions by this time. He took a rest and then swelled himself up and fetched a succession of admirable groans.
Sid snored on.
Tom was aggravated. He said, "Sid, Sid!" and shook him. This course worked well, and Tom began to groan again. Sid yawned, stretched, then brought himself up on his elbow with a snort, and began to stare at Tom. Tom went on groaning. Sid said:
"Tom! Say, Tom!" [No response.] "Here, Tom! TOM! What is the matter, Tom?" And he shook him and looked in his face anxiously.
